“Initially my inspiration to paint comes from shapes, textures and colours observed in the everyday, but mainly my paintings are constructed through process. I work with acrylics, often applying and removing layers of paint and drawing; sometimes splattering, sometimes carefully reapplying the paint, and continuing the whole process until I am satisfied with their depth and atmosphere.”
